6,508 people seen rough sleeping in London last year, reveals new report
A new report ‘Street to Home 2013/14', produced by charity St Mungo's Broadway, shows that 6,508 people were seen sleeping on the streets of London between April 1, 2013 and March 31, 2014. This compares to 6,437 the previous year - a 1% rise.

Sixty Five Hostel celebrates 10th birthday with client party
The St Mungo's Broadway Sixty Five hostel for homeless people celebrated its 10th birthday this week with a party for staff, clients and neighbours.
The hostel, in Uxbridge Road, has been supporting the borough’s homeless people since 2004. Over the years, it has offered accommodation to 229 people, many of whom have since moved on into independent living across London.
