Sixty Five Hostel celebrates 10th birthday with client party
The St Mungo's Broadway Sixty Five hostel for homeless people celebrated its 10th birthday this week with a party for staff, clients and neighbours.
The hostel, in Uxbridge Road, has been supporting the borough’s homeless people since 2004. Over the years, it has offered accommodation to 229 people, many of whom have since moved on into independent living across London.

Touring Tennessee choir delights homeless people with lunchtime performance
A Tennessee-based Methodist choir performed at a St Mungo's Broadway registered care home for homeless men in Islington, on Monday. The Epworth Mission Singers, from the Epworth United Methodist Church, in Franklin, Tennessee, played a 45-minute set for residents at the Hilldrop Road centre, in Islington.
